Provenance: Ownership inscription of Col. Henry (Harry) Latrobe Roosevelt of Roosevelt Hall, Skaneateles, 1921. House inherited from his uncle, Samuel Montgomery Roosevelt, who was first cousin of Theodore Roosevelt. H.L.R.’s cousin, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and wife Eleanor, visited Roosevelt Hall in the 1930s.
