All items in our on-line catalogue are offered “subject to prior sale”.

Items can be ordered on-line using the shopping cart provided or by email. Orders are dealt with in strict order of receipt.

All goods remain the property of Robert Hall Pictures until payment has been received in full.  Goods will be shipped soon after clear funds have been received unless alternative arrangements have been specifically made.

If the buyer wishes to cancel an order prior to receiving the goods, this can be done before the goods have been shipped and a full refund will be applied. Cancellation of the order must be received via email.

Once the goods have been shipped, any item bought online can be returned to us (at the buyer’s expense) for a refund if found unsatisfactory for any reason, as long as we are notified in writing within 14 days from the date of receipt.

Refunds are limited to the original purchase price, excluding initial delivery costs, and will be applied once the goods have been received back and are in the same condition as originally sent. Any refund requests outside the 14 days will be subject to our approval. Method of refund will depend on original method of payment or subsequent arrangement between the buyer and Robert Hall Pictures.

All prices are quoted in UK Pound Sterling (£/GBP). Sales tax (VAT) is included where applicable. Under current UK regulations, printed books, antique maps, charts and plans are Zero Rated (0%) for VAT purposes; decorative prints and globes are charged at the standard VAT rate of 20%.

Payment can be made via the payment gateway/s indicated on the website, which includes the option to pay using a credit or debit card via PayPal’s guest checkout without requiring a PayPal account. Payment can be made via cheque upon arrangement, cheques payable to Robert Hall. We can take payment via bank transfer, please contact us for the relevant details.

We ship to most global locations; shipping is free in the United Kingdom, and £15 per item to the rest of the world. Shipping costs will be indicated during the checkout process, but if you want to contact us to make alternative arrangement please use the contact form on the website. We recommend contacting us on orders over £300 regarding shipping and insurance options.

We endeavour to supply sizes in both millimetres and inches; sizes are normally based on the most relevant available dimension (i.e. platemark, visible area). Contact us if you need more information on any particular items.

All prints, maps and artworks are of or about the date specified, and are in good condition unless stated otherwise. Where square parenthesis is used the enclosed text does not appear on the print, map or artwork.
