a map to help the public follow the Russo-Japanese war of 1904-05, showing the Treaty Ports and naval bases, including Port Arthur contentiously under Russian control, and Weihaiwei leased to the British. The main map covers south-eastern Siberia, most of Japan, eastern China and the Korean Peninsula, with an inset map of the wider region of Asia and the Pacific, lower left, another of the entire continent with a large part of Europe, upper left, and a small inset of southern England to the same scale as the main map, centre left..
