At the western periphery is London Airport (later Heathrow), marked as under the auspices of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, to which it had been transferred in 1946 from the military Air Ministry. A 14pp booklet containing a street reference key and list of places of interest affixed inside the upper cover, with a London Transport map of the underground by H.C. Beck (named lower left) on the back cover..
