Valentine’s Day 2020

To celebrate Valentine’s Day I’d like to share these two anonymous French suites of erotica that would make Eros blush. Each comprises 10 coloured etchings, both from editions of 150. Probably dating from the 1930s, they are very much in the flirtatious style and saucy spirit of Louis Icart, though depicting figures in the costume, frequently undone or discarded, of the sensuous 18th century rococo world of François Boucher.
